Hello again, i've been sitting here thinking about my blog and i realised that i've taken on much more work than one person could possibly get done in a decent amount of time. So what i've done is i have deleted all of the individual game pages and have decided to condense these down into pages that i think people will want to see, there is now a tips and tricks page, a game maps page and a page with art/fan art and screenshots. If i can think of any other pages i will add them at a later date but i think it would be better for me to add content to those pages for each game i find stuff for rather than having a huge amount of games that i need to keep on top of.
So please feel free to check out the new pages and this time none of them are empty! I'll be updating these much more often because i now feel like my workload has decreased a lot!
I hope you enjoy.
Thanks for reading.

Small Changes
I've made a couple of small changes to the blog today, I've added a donation button at the side of the page so that if you feel like helping myself and my fiancé out with a small donation you can, i'm not asking for them as such but if you feel like you want to and that you enjoy what you're reading and viewing then go ahead. I've only done this because as i have mentioned before it would be better for us if we had a small source of income to be able to afford a few things we need and possibly put money away to get married someday.
Anyway, the other thing that has been changed is the poll, i've added a lot more of the Final Fantasy Games to choose from so if you've already voted (there were only four votes anyway) you may have to vote again (sorry) but if you haven't please go ahead and pick your favourite, i'm interested in seeing what people's favourites are!
Anyway i hope you all have a great evening and i hope to hear from people soon!

Playstation 4 Announcement Last Night
So, the Playstation 4 was announced last night in a 2 hour meeting in New York. A meeting which explained the capabilities of this next gen console and showcased some of the developers and games that we can expect to see coming to the PS4.
It was a very interesting meeting but was awfully long so i thought i would write up some of the notes i took during the meeting, this means that if you don't get the chance to watch the full thing, you'll have a rough idea of what the new Playstation is offering.
These are some of the points i took from the meeting:
- The new controller features a touchpad as well as a share button, the share button allows you to broadcast your game live to your friends.
- The new Playstation will allow your friends to post comments to your screen if they are watching you playing a game, this allows you to either banter with them or more importantly they can offer you help or words of warning (for example if they think you hadn't noticed something)
- If you are stuck at something, there is a remote play option allowing your friend to take control of your game using their own controller, over the network. To help you at the bit you are stuck on.
- The actual console will come with a hard drive (pretty obvious) and features a x86 chipset. It also has a second processor to deal with any background downloading of games/updates and patches. Allowing for an uninterrupted gaming experience.
- The console will now incorporate a kind of "hibernation" setting allowing you to put off the Playstation and return to it later on at the exact point in the game you left it at, without losing the game progress.
- You'll be able to try most games before you actually commit to buying them.
- Eventually the Playstation will build up an idea of your favourite things and pre-load games and patches that it believes you will enjoy.
- It comes with a hefty 8gb of RAM.
- You'll be able to play games as you download them.
- There is a video capture option (which had already been talked about before the meeting)
- There was a mention of being able to customise your profile better.
- There's the ability to send your game to other devices such as your vita for remote play (for example if someone else wants to use the TV for a programme or film, you can send your game to your ps vita and continue playing it)
- They are trying to cut down waiting times, as much as possible things are going to be instant by the looks of things.
- The New Killzone game
- Drive Club (has been a concept for 9 years)
- inFamous - Second Son
- Witness (a mystery game which looks good)
- More defined characters, they mentioned they could make use of cg where it was more reserved for films before.
- Deep Down by Capcom using their new Panta Rhei engine.
- Square Enix showed a video i had already seen on youtube of the next gen Final Fatasy style graphics
- Watch Dogs by Ubisoft (looks pretty good)
- Blizzard Entertainment are now in partnership with Sony to bring some games to Playstation, the first mentioned is Diablo 3 (can't wait)
- Bungie are also now working with Activision and are bringing us a game called Destiny.
My guess i that they'll just add them to the PSN like we're already seeing with ps2 games (where the slim ps3 doesn't play them usually).
So that's a roundup of what was in the meeting.
It looks good to me but we'll have to see what kind of rediculous pricetag they slap on it!

More Final Fantasy I Gameplay
Hi there people, thought it's about time i update you with some more of my Final Fantasy gameplay. It's been fun but more challenging than i thought it would be. Once I've completed it i'll give yous all my opinion of the game. But for now here's the latest set of screenshots.
Found myself a new town to check out. |
Circle of old sages, just what you expect to see in a new town. |
Riiight... do continue... |
Oh, alright then, no pressure. |
Just what every world-saving hero needs... |
This.Woman.Annoyed.Me.A.LOT!!! She wouldn't move out the way... |
Testing out the new hardware |
There's a not so friendly familiar face. |
I have arrived at my destination. Some evil Volcano Lair, i wonder if Blofeld is waiting on me... |
Nope. Not Blofeld. |
Big words, you better hope you can back them up... |
Well here goes... |
She couldn't back them up. |
Showing the crystal the crystal |

Have a good weekend
Hi all!
I'd like to start by saying i hope you all had a good valentine's day, i hope you all treated someone and or got treated yourselves! I had a lovely day with my fiancé, she's the most amazing person ever! We spent the day watching tv together, we were meant to watch Valentine's Day on dvd but we never did for some reason, i took her breakfast in bed and she treated me to a day off cooking the dinner with a lovely Chinese and had a nice Strawberry and cream tart after :)
We watched Ghost Adventures, Hollyoaks and Fake Reaction, amongst some other less interesting things lol It was just nice to spend some time together and i didn't play any games so that we could do that.
We got each other a little something too, but the gifts didn't last until the day, they were opened a good few days ago! haha she got me the ARTFX Shadow Creeper, to go with Bahamut Sin, so i'll be showing you that later on sometime and i got a Mally Makeup set that she wanted from QVC.
We don't generally bother too much about valentine's day as such, it's more that yesterday was our 4th year engagement anniversary. What a fantastic four years it's been too! I hope you all find someone who is as special to you as she is to me! I think most of us deserve that in life. She has her own blog too and she's playing Resident Evil Director's cut on and off, so head over and check it out, it can be found HERE.
So that's just a little update about my fiancé and myself, i'll be adding more stuff to the blog soon, more figures and i'll add another section of my Final Fantasy I gameplay soon, either today or tomorrow. I'm going to start on Final Fantasy XII soon because it's bugging the hell out of me, i literally do not remember a thing about it, but i have it in my game collection, so i MUST have played it at some point. It's so weird. I remember all the other games i've played. So yeah once i have my emulator sorted for it (so i can take screenshots and don't need to hook up the ps2 slim) i'll get playing that!
I've also been playing Black Ops II lately. So if anyone is alright at it and actually knows how to play anything objective based please feel free to add me, my psn is PeachUK, just make sure you let me know you've added me because you read my post or something because i have a tendancy to decline random friend invites.lol. I generally play Kill Confirmed and Demolition, but demolition does my nut in! I always end up on the team who doesn't seem to realise that when defending the bomb, all you need to do is camp near it and make sure no F**ker gets planting the bomb! Instead i end up with fools rushing around the map trying to get kils and inevitably getting themselves killed in the process. I cannot count the times i have saved our team from a close detonation or from losing due to not planting the bomb, i often see that i've had the most plants and defuses in a game because i'm the only one trying to do the actual objective! lol So if you treat demolition like team deathmatch, please, please don't bother.
Anyway, rant over lol
What are we all doing this weekend? I hope people have something good planned. I guess even relaxing is good! I don't really know what i'm doing, probably TV and games. I want to try do something nice for my lady, she's always putting up with me on games, patience of a saint! So i'll try come up with something to make her a happy lady.
Feel free to get in touch! Barely anyone has!
And i wish you all a Fantastic Weekend!

More Final Fantasy I Gameplay
Between black Ops II Sessions I've been playing more of Final Fantasy I. So here is the next installment of my Final Fantasy I game. I will be posting pictures of my new addition to my figure collection soon, so check back regularly for more updates etc...
Well i guess I'll have to go somewhere else then, for now... |
Oh here's that vampire some folks were talking about... |
I guess he wants a fight... |
So this is what he was guarding... I'm sure someone told me a particular giant likes gemstones... |
I guess they were right! Handy... |
I'm sure many women will disagree with that statement! |
Clever man, i'm glad someone knows what to do next! |
I don't like the idea of probing a vampire's chamber... |
Right! Probing it is then... |
Guess I'll probe here then... |
Thanks for clearing that one up for me... |
Rude... |
Time to teach him some manners! |
That's him taught, Vivi fell asleep... |
Cool, a talking crystal. |
About bloody time i lit one of these up! |
Woohoo! We win, let's go through that portal behind the crystal... |

Final Fantasy VII - Bahamut Sin Advent Children - ARTFX - Kotobukiya
Finally after waiting a week for it to be delivered it's here!
The latest addition to my figures is the ARTFX Bahamut Sin figure from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. As i've mentioned before i don't usually go for the Advent Children figures, but as this is a monster i don't mind! I'll probably end up with he rest of the Advent children figures anyway to be honest, at some point.
This figure is absolutely fantastic, it feels like the Play Arts figures, soft vinyl. I guess it pretty much is a Play Arts figure as they are both produced by Kotobukiya. But this one is an ARTFX figure. The figure stands at about 8" it's a lot larger than the other figures i have in more obvious ways, the tail and the massive wings may have something to do with it haha. To give you a better idea of how big the figure is, i measured the base (which the figure takes up nearly all of) and it is around 8.5" wide and just under 7" front to back in an oval shape.
It's beautifully made, the detail on the figure is stunning! I sat there for quite a while yesterday just looking all around it and they really don't leave any areas undetailed. My favourite parts are the wings, it fuses amazingly between the solid grey colour into a clear orange colour at the tips, seamlessly in fact. This has to be my favourite figure, along with the Hardy Daytona & Cloud Strife. The only differences between this figure and the other ones i have reviewed so far are that it doesn't really have much articulation. It's arms move a bit and the hands turn, the legs move a little bit, but as far as i can tell, nothing else really moves. I was hoping that the wings would be movable so you could have them up or down, but i tried moving them a little bit and found they were pretty rigid, i'm not going to risk breaking anything by being too heavy handed with it, on that note, it doesn't actually feel fragile, once again because it's a soft vinyl figure, it feels very solid but at the same time has a nice soft texture.
The packaging is fairly standard, which is similar to the sephiroth advent children packaging, just glossy flimsy-ish cardboard with some pictures and lettering. Once again the back of the box shows the figure a couple of times and has pictures of the other figures in the collection. As you can tell i don't think it's anything outstanding, but what's inside the box more than makes up for the standard packaging. If the packaging looked more like the Play Arts Vol.1 packaging, it'd be fantastic!
The base for this figure slots into a couple of small holes under Bahamut's feet and keeps him very stable, to be fair he could stand up with or without the base, i just prefer to make sure he stays stood up, so i've kept the base underneath him. As you can see, the base is massive, but the figure is large too, so i guess it needs to be!
Overall this figure, as with all my other figures (with maybe exception of the Bandai set) is fantastic, very highly detailed and feels very well made. It's definately aimed at collectors and not children, just like the rest of the figures. They have taken a lot of time making sure these figures are highly accurate and detailed and i doub't they'd do that if children were going to smash them around. So definately a collector's item.
I would recommend this to anyone who loves the games, it's without one of the best ones i have at the moment. It also seems to be quite pricey, i managed to get it cheap and in perfect condition, so that's a bonus!! The only thing that's not 100% is the box, but i'd say it was more age and storage wear than mis-handling.
See if you can bag yourself one! I'd highly recommend this!
